Why FB-ISAO?

Faith-based organizations face the same risks as other critical sectors—but often without the same resources. FB-ISAO fills that gap by delivering trusted threat intelligence, preparedness tools, and collaborative support. We unite diverse communities of faith to strengthen collective resilience across physical, cyber, and health domains. Our network shares timely, actionable information through human and automated channels. Together, we are building a more secure and prepared nation, one congregation at a time.

We foster trusted relationships, support local leadership, and provide the same tools and insights available to other critical sectors.

FB-ISAO serves as a trusted partner at the center of a national network that has been informed and equipped to prevent, protect against, mitigate, respond to, and recover from incidents arising from all-hazards, ensuring the resilience and continuity of these important community assets. This includes:

  • Physical security incidents, such as hostile events / active shooter and incidents of low-tech terrorism, such as bombings
  • Cybersecurity incidents, such as email scams, ransomware infections, and website defacement
  • Public health incidents, such as seasonal flu activity and disease outbreaks
  • Natural disasters, such as severe weather events, and earthquakes.
