‘March for Israel’ live updates: Thousands expected in Washington
From USA Today:
Thousands of Israel supporters were gathering Tuesday on the National Mall to show support for the military campaign against Hamas, demand the immediate release of hostages held in Gaza and condemn an increase in antisemitic incidents across the nation and around the world.
The organizers, the Jewish Federations of North America and the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, describe the effort as “an opportunity for all Americans to come together in solidarity with the people of Israel to demonstrate our commitment to America’s most important ally” in the region.
