Demonstration Alert: Reykjavik (Iceland), Pro-Palestinian Protest Outside U.S. Embassy, May 15 (example of available resource)

The Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) alerts are pass throughs from US embassies and consulates.  For incidents, the alerts usually provide:

  • Location
  • Event description
  • Actions to take
  • Assistance provided by US Department of State

Analyst Comments:

While few, if any, Faith-Based Organization (FBO) members will be in Reykjavik today, most FBO members will travel overseas at some point. Protests and other activities that may be of concern to US citizens will also continue.

FBO members traveling overseas for any reason should consider utilizing OSAC’s resources.
