This DAP highlights – More executive threats, and a bomb threat to the Lakewood Church in Houston Texas. The DAP also has More Faith-Based Stories and Select All-Hazard Stories. These updates are shared to help raise the situational awareness of Faith-Based organizations to best defend against and mitigate the impacts from all-hazards threats including physical security, cybersecurity, and natural disasters.

In a community of force multipliers, not everyone contributes the same way, so we’ve come up with yet another way for community members to be force multipliers – guest blog posts! Please feel free to share this announcement within your networks and let’s build up this community of force multipliers together!
The mission of The Faith-Based Information Sharing & Analysis Organization (FB-ISAO) Is to provide members with information, analysis, and capabilities to help reduce risk while enhancing preparedness, security, and resilience. We are an all-faiths and all-hazards information sharing organization. With that mission in mind, please consider writing a blog post that aligns with that mission. The benefit to you? Contribute your knowledge and expertise to further the community’s ability to practice their faith securely.
Our Guidelines
- FB-ISAO cannot guarantee blog placement.
- Our team reviews all submissions and makes selections based on a number of factors, including whether or not a topic aligns with our mission. We serve to provide information, analysis, and capabilities to help reduce risk while enhancing preparedness, security, and resilience. We are an all-faiths and all-hazards information sharing organization.
- Posts should align with the general tone already in use on our blog site.
- All submissions must meet our quality standards in order to get published.
- Published articles will live exclusively on our blog site: https://faithbased-isao.org/blog/.
- If your post is published on our site, we encourage you to share it with your network and link back to it.
- We aim to be informative and though pointing to tools or services that align with our mission is allowed, outright vendor sale content is not allowed.
- No more than one link to your company’s website in the body of the post.
- By-lines are not considered to be part of the one link guideline.
- If your post highlights technology or other solutions, include at least two other solution providers that offer the same or similar solutions.
- Proper attribution of data, quotations, and outside content referenced in the post must be included.
The team reserves the right to:
- Edit and adapt your guest blog content to suit our standards.
- Include calls-to-action to other FB-ISAO content and other resources that may be pertinent to the topic.
- Remove the post from the blog.
In all cases, we will work with you on the final draft and give you the option of withdrawing your post if you are no satisfied with the final version. All final content decisions are at the team’s discretion.
The Types of Posts We Do Not Accept
- Anything that may be construed as a promotion of a particular faith.
- Anything that’s excessively promotional for your company or organization.
- Anything that is primarily political or promoting a certain political party, candidate or position.
- Anything that’s offensive or inaccurate.
Formatting and Length Tips
- As a general rule of thumb, blog posts should be in the 400-600 word range.
- Create headings to organize your content.
- Keep paragraphs short.
- Add bulleted lists whenever possible.
- Numbered lists should be formatted as number + period.
- Always include an introduction and a conclusion.
- Do not include images in your submission.
